Web 2.0 technologies often work well with languages that are well represented on the internet, but for lesser used languages Web 2.0 technologies often require tweaking. Unfortunately the tweaking often requires knowledge of HTML or XHTML, CSS and PHP or other scripting languages.
The popularity of Web 2,0 technologies is partly around the features they provide and how they are used, but also around the ease of use. Ease of use is an essential feature, and when using English, they are straight forward to use.
But for the new and emerging languages in Victoria, web 2.0 technologies require greater knowledge and skill.
During the Learning 2.0 training, I'll try to document some of the gotchas and possible solutions.

Hacked around a gotcha to include the title of your blog in Google's standard Link list widget - we had to put a space before τόπος, before the widget would allow us to add the link :-)
Which widget/gadget were you using and which template?
Haven't had any trouble with the gadgets I've tested to date.
The standard "Link list" gadget, added via the Customize -> Page Elements. We were editing an existing Link list gadget, don't know if that has different behaviour (can't see why it would).
"Link list" gadget works fine for me. So either a template issue, or something at your end. You'll need to show me what you were doing.
